Maili
Paradise is calling
Maili was founded several centuries ago by the locals. No one knows the exact time it was settled and by whom. The town has grown throughout the years thanks to tourists, and businesses that have gone in.
A few miles North of Honolulu, the state capital and Pearl Harbor, one of Hawaii’s best known sights, it is situated along the coast of the South Pacific Ocean. Maili is a place of kind people and great fun.
To the North you have what the locals like to call the tourist area. It’s a large area of motels, restaurants, sites to see, places to be. The beach on the North side is rarely visited by any of the locals except when they have guests visiting them. There are little novelty shops dotting the north side a source of great income for all of the owners, especially those that are family owned.
To the East Side you have the business area; the largest hospital in the county is located here with the most capable doctors available. The military bases are also located here, at the very edge of town. The fire department and police department are the direct center of the business area, making it fairly easy to get around.
To the South you will find the oldest area of the city. Almost all of the houses were built at least ninety years ago, the park graces this area making it a very beautiful place to see. The beach on this side is great for family fun, and is filled by a waterfall a short distance away. The river connecting them is very lovely another great place for you to relax.
The West Side is known all over as the party side of town. The beach almost always is booming with something going on, beach parties are very frequent around these parts. The mall and other great shops are located very close to the beach; this whole area revolves around the beach activities.
So come on in, and take a look around. You are sure to find tons to do.
