For those who can't take a liking to the world can live on Manchester Colony. It's got the general forms of work, recreation, and living as you'd find planet-side, but instead of sky you get stars.

After new ships get made, they get sent off to Wendell's, where they lie waiting for the Alliance or the wealthy to pick them up or buy them. Older ships also get traded here and repaired and re-sold. If you're looking for something and wouldn't mind the Alliance stamp of approval (and subsequent leery eye), this is the place to buy.

More like dry dock, the Hanuman is a place where new ships get drafted and crafted. Most folk don't live on the station regular and just transport to and from planet-side. It's a great place for getting brand-new parts, or for nicking new parts to sell, thus why it's got a high security force.

A giant hub of trade, post, and exhibition. Most goods can be bought and sold here as well as picking up post, but illegal dealings are better kept on-world.

{Orbits Highgate}

Niska's operations have long since been quieter since he took the beating from Mal; his reputation is less than what it was. He's still there, though, baiting the day to get the ransom money back that the Serenity crew paid for Wash.

{Orbits Ezra}

A communication relay center for the Cortex and an Alliance-friendly port for refueling, repairs and trade. Porthos is also home to a small community of traders and a post center. The station regularly houses over three thousand souls.

{Orbits Greenleaf}

A base of operations for those shipping out to colonize a newly-terreformed world, as well as a hub for communications, refueling, repairs and a bit of trade. There is a base crew of around 500 and thousands of people move in and out regularly on their way out to new worlds.
