The dining and cooking area of Serenity, a place of great comfort and companionship. Never actually hired a cook, so most people learned for themselves.

The warm, cozy quarters of the engine room. Kaylee has a hammock strung up seeing as she spends so much time working on Serenity's innards.

The Cargo Bay is wide and open, generally full of supplies for Serenity and, less often than needed, goods for a job. Ship recreation usually happens here since it's the only place big enough to run around. Access to the upper and lower decks can be reached via the stairwells; the shuttles are also located this way.

Ever since Simon came along the Infirmary is well-stocked and ready for anything that might happen... which it usually does, from cuts to bullets.

Really it's just a few chairs, a couch and table opposite the Infirmary, but it's cozy if you mean to sit for a spell and don't intend to eat.

Mal, Kaylee, Jayne, and Zoe all have their own rooms, and usually only those that they invite down come in.

River and Simon have rooms facing one another, and a turn down the hall leads to two empty rooms, one of which was Sheppard's.

Inara's shuttle is private to mostly herself and her clients, unless you ask permission to enter. She usually only has a problem with Mal coming in unannounced, though.
