Athens There are several rocks circling Sole before Athens, little burned-up bits of rock that resemble dried prunes than proverbial planets. Athens itself is a far distance from Sole, more or less circling the sun than Sole. |

Heinlein It's a gasser, one of the largest in the system. It absorbs heat from Sole and then warms its many moons, acting as a beacon and a sun. If its surface had been any hotter at the beginning of the 'Verse, it would have ignited into another sun. |
